The Whimsy Emporium takes your privacy seriously. Your personal information is used for internal purposes, such as confirming and tracking your order, analyzing trends and statistics, informing you of our new products, services and offers, and providing you with information from and about The Whimsy Emporium, LLC.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address to contact you regarding that particular order. We will only share this information with the shipping provider for your order.

Email marketing: When you subscribe to our mailing list, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates. Your email address is never shared or sold to third parties. To remove yourself from our mailing list, you can always click on unsubscribe from a newsletter.

Commerce Site: Our store is hosted on Shopify. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Secure Shopping

This site uses the best encryption software in the industry – SSL - to encrypt all of your personal and sensitive information. SSL is designed to render information unreadable should anyone try to intercept it. The Whimsy Emporium LLC uses reasonable measures to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of your information once it is in our records. We do not store credit card number information. When ordering online, this information is sent directly to the authorizing banks.

Please note: Email is not encrypted and is not considered a secure means of transmitting credit card numbers. The Whimsy Emporium will never ask for sensitive information via email.

E-commerce sites use tiny bits of computer code, called cookies, to improve your shopping experience. As a website visitor, small amounts of data are stored on your computer, which help us improve our site and make it easier for you to use. The Whimsy Emporium does not use cookies to save passwords, credit card numbers or other sensitive information.
